Staff Analysis of the Legislation

Amend chapter 1 of Title 15.  Relating to the general provisions of courts so as to change certain provisions relating to requesting judicial assistance from other courts.  If assistance is needed from a judge from the same circuit, the chief judge of any court within such circuit of this state may make a written request for assistance to the chief judge of any other court within such circuit, a senior judge of the superior court, a retired judge, or a judge emeritus of any court within the circuit.
